Pace Group was tasked with fitting out an office space for Compass Housing, spanning across 1100 square meters of floor space. Pace Group worked closely with the client (Compass Housing) for a portion of the fitout, also working with the Architect (CKDS Architecture) and the project management company (Collaborative Building) to design a unique space to meet the client’s specifications. There was a strict deadline that Pace Group had to abide by to fit-in with other trades including plumbers and electricians for a seamless fitout for the client.
There was a variety of spaces that Pace Group fitted out; a boardroom, kitchen, offices, breakout areas and reception areas. The project required custom joinery and pinboards to suit the space and the client’s specifications. LED lighting was used to further enhance the custom made joinery. The Reception counter was a simple yet contemporary design further enhanced with the use of LED lights. The kitchen contained sophisticated joinery, a stone benchtop and splash back to provide a functional space for staff. Ultimet Metal Tambour Units with Planter Boxes were placed throughout the open-plan areas to provide not only functional storage but also bringing some greenery to the office with the planter boxes. The meeting room and breakout areas contained Stride Meeting Tables that feature stylish and unique angled legs. The IT Office wall mounted bench created a functional area with plenty of bench space to work from. The storeroom space included 9 bays of adjustable metal storage.
The entire project had a turnaround of just over 3 months from the date of order, including the custom pinboards and joinery.
